Are you a dedicated church ministry leader looking to enhance your knowledge and effectively navigate the complexities of church administration? We are excited to introduce you to Helmsman School - Beta Edition, a series of classes designed to empower church leaders like you with the knowledge and tools necessary for successful ministry management.

We understand that running a church involves more than just spiritual guidance. It requires efficient management, strategic planning, and a solid understanding of administrative best practices. Our classes are designed to empower you with the skills necessary to overcome challenges and maximize the impact of your ministry.

Each Thursday, You have the option to take one, two, or all of the classes. You can enroll in one class and someone else on your team may want to enroll in another class. We wanted to ensure you had the flexibility to select classes that align with your ministry role and goals.

Here is a list of our classes:

  • Organizational Foundations - In this class, we will delve into the crucial aspects of organizational foundations for churches. We will review and guide you in amending church governing documents, such as bylaws and constitutions, to ensure they align with your ministry's vision and goals. Additionally, we will explore state filings, equipping you with the knowledge to navigate legal and regulatory obligations effectively through a referral to a church attorney.

This class focuses on developing intentional pathways for new and existing members to connect, grow, and serve within your ministry. Explore the principles and practices of designing and implementing growth tracks that guide individuals on their spiritual journey and foster a sense of belonging and purpose in your church community.

  • Building Community - Building a strong community is essential both within your congregation and in the surrounding neighborhood. In this class, we will delve into the strategies and best practices for fostering internal community among your congregants. We will also explore how to extend your church's reach and impact by building relationships and engaging with the external community in your neighborhood. Learn practical approaches to cultivating a sense of belonging and making a positive difference beyond the church walls.

  • Tech Tools to Manage Your Ministry - Discover the transformative power of technology in managing your ministry effectively. This class introduces you to a variety of tech tools specifically tailored for church administration.
